The Street Department is responsible for the proper maintenance and construction of the streets and sidewalks for the City. This Department also maintain right-of-ways, collect debris and trash, and maintain storm drains.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

The City of Jackson's vehicle fleet is maintained by Assistant  Public Works Superintendent Troy Smith. In addition to being responsible for all City vehicles and equipment, his skills are valuable in the operations of the Street Department.
