Public Hearing for Variance Request

December 8, 2025, at 6 pm, located at the City Hall, 134 S. Oak St. A public hearing will be held for zoning case: 2025-VAR-DEC Ben Giovanetti of Jackson Ga is requesting a variance from Section 12- 4 Sidewalk requirements in full. This section requires the installation of sidewalks along all public rights-of-way frontages of any new commercial building in C-1 and C-2 zoning districts. The property is located on Ernest and Pat Biles Dr. and has road frontage on this street, E. Third St., Carolina Ave., and Lewis St. (Map/ Parcel J0180-061-000). The application and supporting documents about this case may be reviewed at City Hall, located in the lobby. This meeting will be open to the public.
