PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The City of Jackson City Council will conduct two Public Hearings upon the following matter:
Zoning Ordinance: ARTICLE II Establishment of Districts: 13.Commercial/Institutional – to establish a zoning classification for churches or places of worship located within the City of Jackson and name such a classification Commercial/Institutional and to rezone all existing churches from Commercial to Commercial/Institutional and to update Table I Schedule of District Use Regulations and the Zoning Map accordingly.
The Public Hearings will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 and Tuesday, May 16, 2023 both at 7:00PM in the Conference Room at City Hall located at 134 South Oak Street, Jackson, Georgia.
