STREET LITTER PICK-UP THIS SATURDAY IN CITY OF JACKSON
Adopt-a-Street partners and other volunteers will be cleaning up litter on the streets and roadsides of the City of Jackson on Saturday morning, August 1, 2015.
Residents who have not adopted a street are encouraged to participate by either joining in the clean-up campaign by assembling at City Hall at 8:00 am for street assignments and bags, or by picking up litter within their neighborhoods. Bags filled with litter will be left on the right-of-way for pick up.
Everyone is requested to watch for the volunteers working on the roadways and streets and drive cautiously to assure their safety.
The Adopt-a-Street Program is sponsored by Jackson’s Clean City Task Force chaired by Nikki Sowell.
