The City of Jackson has again gained statewide recognition. Earlier this year, Jackson was named the sixteenth safest city in Georgia, and this week Jackson made a list of the state’s best places to live.
Rent Application. com released its annual “Best Places in Georgia” report for 2016 this week. The list of the 46 best places to live in Georgia ranks the City of Jackson at 40th. Roswell, Georgia ranked # 1.

“Ours is a bucolic town known for being “clean, green and safe,’ remarked Jackson Mayor Kay Pippin, ‘residents have easy access to local and regional jobs; home values, while still affordable, are inching up at an acceptable rate; unemployment rates are low; our schools are preparing a good workforce for the future; our streets are clean and safe; and natural resources including water and green spaces abound.”
“Our residents already know Jackson is a great place to live, but statewide and national recognition is absolutely thrilling,” stated Mayor Pippin.
